Major Mahadevan (Mohanlal) is the head of the elite command force. He is in charge of fighting the country?? terrorist groups and protecting the country from their terrorist intentions. Havildar Jaikumar (Jeevaa) is Major Mahadevan?? most trusted lieutenant. He meticulously carries out his chief?? instruction thereby gaining his trust and confidence. Mahadevan, Havildar Jaikumar and their team save the public from threats, attempted bombings, kidnappings, and extortions by militants. There is a plan to blow up the famous Hazrathbal shrine by a terrorist group headed by an Afghan nawab. The aim of doing this is to create communal tension and disharmony in India. During their attack they enter the house of Kashmiri family, torture everyone in the house and holding them hostage. This unfortunate situation is informed by Police officer Gopinath (Biju Menon) to the BSF. Havildar Jaikumar who is on a wedding vacation, leaves his wife after just three days of marriage to head back to Kashmir, when he is called back by Major Mahadevan. How the elite commandos fight terrorists, forms the rest of the story The film tells an interesting bondage shared between the Chief of a commando force and a Havildaar, who braves the bombs and bullets of the heartless, jihadis in Kashmir valley. The film which dwells with the happenings in Kashmir has been powerful enough to essay the messages every army personal finds necessary to tell the people of the country
